How to get to Ormsaig

Getting there with public transport

First of all, go to by train Oban. Oban railway station is next to the ferry and has a good connection with Glasgow Queen Street station which can be easily reached from Edinburgh or Glasgow airport.
From Oban take a ferry to Craignure, Isle of Mull. Please note that the ferry has a different winter schedule. On Mull get a bus towards Bunessan and Fionnphort. The bus route goes past Ormsaig cottage, but if you ask nicely, the bus driver will stop next to Ormsaig.

Getting there by car

Also when travelling by car, first follow the instructions to Oban. The AA has good directions form Glasgow or Edinburgh. The route from Glasgow by Loch Lomond is a very nice drive.
From Oban take a ferry to Craignure, Isle of Mull. Please note that the ferry has a different winter schedule. On Mull take a left and drive on for 25 miles. You will find the cottage past Penyghael, on the left side of the road.
